I just decided to send donations for Haiti's orphans. I suggest that more people send aid to those left homeless by this terrible disaster too.

How can we join in on this most worthy ministry? First by checking our motivation. We owe it to the millions of unsaved who embrace the "Green" movement worldwide to know that Christians serve this and all worthy causes because, first and foremost, we love the Creator, the one true God of the Bible. First and foremost we must acknowledge that we desire to serve him because he sent his son, Jesus, to save us. And with our salvation secure, we are overflowing with gratitude for such a generous and forgiving God that we desire to share the Gospel to all the world. When we encounter those who are dieing of thirst we must do all that we can to bring them water to drink, to help them such that they can have ears to hear that they, too, need a savior in order that they not perish. They are not victims. They are living in horrific circumstances that we, blessed Christians, must serve as commanded by the Great Commission. So, let's bring on the water, the food, the embrace. Let's never lose sight of the true motivation of any ministry that may not be readily and immediately recognized by non-believers as doing all things for the glory of the sacrifice of Jesus on that tree, wholly God, wholly man, who, indeed, thirsted to the last breath.
Hello Kevin, and ALL who visit this Site:

First of all, congratulations to you and WMI for this initiative, and We pray to Our Lord JESUS that this will first impact every local Church in the US and then several million people around the world, the world in need, with fresh/clean/safe water for human needs.

It's known safe water is taken for granted here in the US, but this not true for the mayority of the people in developing countries like Honduras and others in Latinamerica, Africa and Asia, and this is the Mission that WMI has in these countries: to provide access to safe water for drinking and cooking as well as access to the message of 'Living Water' as an inherent need in every 'thirsty soul' in our planet.

Just the other night talking to a clerk at a Wal-Mart Store in Charleston, SC, she was so amazed and I could see her impression when I was talking to her about what we do in our countries for our people through WMI, and she could not believe that people there normally just drink raw contaminated water from every source (river, well, etc.) on a daily basis, which causes them deaths and diseases, specially to young kids.

So, by this means, we hope this site will help raise awareness amongt our Brothers and Sisters who have the means here in the US so that we can continue helping the people in need in many other countries around the world so that no one should perish for lack of access to safe water on a daily basis for thier human needs, and also, be able to present the Gospel to them so that THEY can enjoy not just a physical good life but also ETERNAL LIFE.

May God Bless You All,

HECTOR A. CHACON
